BURNSVILLE, Minn. (WCCO) — An 82-year-old widow, who had $20,000′s value of her valuables stolen from her Burnsville retirement home, is anticipating she can get some of a pieces behind — generally her marriage and rendezvous ring.
Surveillance video from another retirement home led to a detain of 30-year-old Andrew Page, of Eden Prairie.
But nothing of Nettie Broyles’ valuables has been recovered.
The burglar got in after hidden a master pivotal from a retirement home’s office. Broyles says she competence not have beheld for weeks. But she beheld one of her rings fibbing on a floor.
She rushed to her valuables case.
“He took my solid solitaire rendezvous ring and a bullion rope from my wedding, 63 years ago,” she said.
Missing were many of her many loving pieces given to her by her late husband, Gwin, and her late son, Roger.
“I never ever dreamed anyone would take it,” she said.
